About
Working professionally with Flash since 1999, I have a high level of skill and a broad range of competencies.
Over the years I have been increasingly excited with the possibilities of coded interfaces and animations, and so have specialised as an actionscript developer, working in AS3 to OOP practices, with an MVC approach.
Also, I bake bread and carve spoons to keep sane.
- Interactive development: Flash and AIR with advanced actionscript (AS3/2, OOP, MVC), since 1999.
- Comfortable integrating Flash with web-services for live data applications.
- Experience with APIs including Google Maps, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Away3D, FLAR toolkit, Flurry analytics, Wunderground weather
- Support skills inluding: HTML, CSS, XML, JSON, JavaScript and jQuery.
- Photoshop - Image manipulation and optimisation.
- Video editing and optimisation for the web.
